Another nice reception!

Joy in the Morning
high fire enamels, sgraffito
and sandblast etching

Tonight we held the opening for "Women Artists" at the Artport Gallery. The opening reception was very nice and we had a good turn-out! The show looked wonderful. Kudos to Leslie, Janice, and Susie who did a fine job hanging it. This event was sponsored by the Council on Cultural and the Arts. The 12 women artists were comprised of the Artists' Steering Committee for the Florida Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

I enjoyed meeting some new people and talking to some old friends. It was a nice balance. One of the pieces I have in the show will be going home with someone else! That piece is posted here.

In two weeks, we will have the opening for the All-Media National Juried Exhibition at 621 Gallery. That should be fun, too.

Well, I need to get some shut-eye so that I can get some painting done over the next couple of days. I also need to mail some work to Dallas. Let's all go out and have a nice weekend!

Til later,

Terrie

Sorry we missed the opening. Did you attend the AL meeting on 7/1?

Hi, Welcome back!

Hope you will stop by and see the exhibit while it is on display. I've had some computer problems this week and we did not attend the Artists' League meeting on the 1st. Hope to see you soon.

Hi Kiddo (I get to call her that because she is my sister!)
We are all out here in SF enjoying the 4th of July. Linda, Dave and Diana Marzola, Michael, Kerstin and Emily all say hi. We love your website and especially the blog. I have enjoyed your art for much of my life, and it is especially gratifying to see it in a venue that all can enjoy.
